Unusual Form. Star shaped pink influenced lavender self, light green throat with sepals lighter than petals and pale midribs on petals.

DANCING SUMMERBIRD £15.00

King/Lamone '87 Dip 26" Early/Mid Dor 5"

Introduced into the United Kingdom by Diana as part of her recent International Collection. A stunning unusual form. Pale lavender with a green throat and some fragrance. Described by the breeder as a butterfly open form.

DARING DILEMMA £9.00

Salter '93 Tet 24" Mid SEv 5"

Round, ruffled peachy pink with plum purple eye and picotee on the petals. This bloom really needs warm weather to perform at its best looked great last year. AM 2000.

DESIGNER JEANS £7.50

Sikes '82 Tet 34" Mid Dor 6.5"

Creamy mauve/pink blended bloom. The eye zone is a very unusual shape and a distinctive deep lavender. The petals are edged with deep lavender and there is a yellow green throat.

HM 1986, AM 1991, LAA 1995.

DOUBLE ACTION £6.50

Reinke '92 Dip 24" Ear/Mid/Re SEv. 5.5"

This is a great yellow double which never disappoints, not here anyway. Pleasant fragrance and a thoroughly good doer. Rarely seen in this country.

DOUBLE CORSAGE £4.50

Childs '77 Dip 28" Mid/Re Dor 6"

Another double but unlike the last one for me it just seems to have extra petals rather than being truly double. Still, a lovely rose pink and always looks good in the border.

DRAGON KING £9.00

Kirchhoff'94 Tet 22" Early Ev. 5.5"

Superb ruffled rich orange/scarlet self with an enormous green sunburst throat. Impeccable form, colour and effect. AM 2001.

DUNE NEEDLEPOINT £8.50

Pauley '86 Dip 29" Mid Dor 6"

This is an unusual form which really deserves to be known better. Everyone who sees it loves it. A buff pink with a rose halo and a quite surprisingly pleasant perfume. Sometimes you have to wait for it to open fully on dull days but well worth the wait!

EARLIANNA £5.50

Bletscher '38 Dip 24" Early Dor 5"

As you can see this is a really old cultivar. It is bright yellow and quite fragrant. I was cutting the scapes in September from this valuable late rebloomer. Sold out 2003.

EGGPLANT ESCAPADE £15.00

Reed '96 Dip 36" Mid/Late Dor 6.5"

Aptly named, the main colour is an aubergine purple with a light yellow throat and yellow sprinkles blending into a purple eye. This is a great spider variant showing its Trahlyta parentage and a valuable very late bloomer.

ELIZABETH ANN HUDSON £5.50

Munson '75 Tet 26" Early/Mid Ev. 5.5"

Older but still beautiful dark pink with a plum/purple eye and edge in warm weather. Described in Munson's book as a classic.

AM 1987.

EMERALD DEW £5.00

Harris '80 Tet 28" Early/Mid Dor 6.5"

Very pretty green influenced yellow bloom with a green throat. Very ruffled and fragrant.

HM 1983, AM 1986..

ETRUSCAN TOMB £8.00

Hanson '88 Tet 20" Mid/Late Dor 5"

A stunning violet flower with a darker eye and a green throat. A valuable late purple daylily of good form.

EYE YI YI £6.50

McCroskey '88 Tet 30" Early Ev. 5"

Very showy bronze/orange with a bright red eye zone. Rebloomed heavily here this year.

FAIRY TALE PINK £6.00

Pierce'80 Dip 24" Mid SEv. 5.5"

Still one of the most popular cultivars in this country. Although called pink it is nearer to a delicate melon pink but is well ruffled and truly beautiful.

HM 1984, AM 1987, Stout Medal 1990.

FIRE TREE £5.50

Stevens '79 Tet 28" Mid Dor 4.5"

This plant is certainly well named. A tall cultivar covered in fiery red blooms with neat gold throat.

FUNKY FUCHSIA £8.50

Hansen '92 Dip 20" Mid SEv. 5"

The name says it all. A real garden show off of a most unusual fuchsia pink with small green throat. Nicely ruffled and reblooms.

GERMAN BALLERINA £9.50

Reinermann '95 Dip 26" Mid/Later SEv. 4"

Bronze/orange spider with lovely red eye and orange green throat. Bred from Spindazzle. We were cutting scapes off this until well into September. Newly offered in this country and a beautiful form.

GREEN FLUTTER £4.00

Williamson '44 Dip 22" Mid/Late SEv. 3"

Despite its age one of the greenest daylilies available. Ruffled and star shaped, the green throat spreads out onto the petals. A good bud builder and a multi award winner including the Stout Medal in 1976.
