AMERSTONE AMETHYST JEWEL (KING-LAMONE 2002)

A little surprise in the seedling patch, this low-growing seedling from (FAIRY SUMMERBIRD X DANCING SUMMERBIRD ) was a very floriferous crispata and is by far the shortest and smallest crispata in Marc´s collection.
The illustration is typical for the wealth of flowers that AMERSTONE AMETHYST JEWEL produces on 3 and 4-way branched scapes. The colour is a lilac-amethyst with a very large green-turning-chartreuse throat. The colours look magnificent in cool weather. In hot weather the form begins to really dance! Good increase, the foliage mound stays low and compact with the flowering scapes rising from different angles from within the mound.
Mid Season, ca 25 buds per scape, 3 weeks of bloom, 4in flowers, DOR, NOCT, Frag.
