A very heavy-blooming large-flowering nocturnal. Just simply MASSES of flowers twisting every which way! Superb movement en masse in the landscape or border. The blossoms can be seen opening already for the next day's bloom in the illustrations here. Flowers open very flat and recurve and twist somewhat in hot weather, sometimes reminiscent of LOIS BURNS in form and poise. Very heavy substance and sunproof at 30ºC (ca. 90ºF), this dormant has sweet fragrance in warm and humid weather.

The initial burst of bloom is so heavy that I recommend daily cleaning of the spent blossoms until the plant settles down into more singularly spaced blooms. A very fertile plant, producing many seeds per pod. Flower size approximately 7 inches, three way branching with ca. 25 to 30 buds.

A hardy DORMANT that starts blooming in Early Midseason and does not stop until the Very Lates begin. Rebloom was excellent with three rebloom scapes in Late to Very Late, making this flower the longest blooming of any of daylily in our collection of ca 1,200 different cultivars.
